No more kittensPosted Sunday, May 31, 2009, at 9:51 PM
My kittens have all found a new home and I can now reclaim my deck and try to salvage my flowers. Kittens are cute and fun to watch, but I certainly did not need 5 cats at my house. But they all have new homes except the mamma cat, of course. And as soon as I can get the appointment made, mamma cat is making a visit to the vet. Our last mama cat took care of the mice for us for over 17 years. Maybe we'll be that lucky again and this one will live to that ripe old age, also.
Now it's time to get the nursery ready again. My miniature dacshound is soon to deliver a litter of pups. She's looking pretty miserable so should be any day now. If all goes well with her, I'll have to make a decision about whether or not she and Mr. Samson need to visit the vet, too. Pets are wonderful -- but nobody needs more than they can love and care for. |
