Would you know Bret, whether my sourcing from the Southern Hemisphere on the subject of AGW makes any difference?

  • No, I wouldn't know -- and I haven't seen any polar bears around in these parts either -- if it gets any colder, I may relocate to Costa Rica or perhaps Neptune.

  • You mean to say Bret, "I haven't seen any polar bears YET" don't you?

Incidentally, I've read your 'Big Six Oh' post and studying on that plus what polar bears implies for whether you & I even any longer are considered 'Modern' (scientifically speaking) has me wondering if I still qualify for AARP due to my now (apparently) being Ancient.

Apologies for that sentence construction. But ...

"Then, in a second 2013 study in the journal Ecology and Evolution, the researchers compared polar bear scat from modern times with an analysis conducted from 1968 to 1969, when climate change hadn't dramatically affected the habitat."

  • Apparently up in Ohio the Chinese Calendar Interpretors figured it's not 'The Year of the Horse' rather, 'The Year of the Hog.'
