  • Slight quibble teacher:

    "the Israelis from land that the UN partitioned in 1948 and/ or that the Israeli army won in an offensive war waged by the Arabs."

    Change that fourth from last word to "launched" - as it's written, the impression might be the Israelis weren't engaged in a defensive war. That they [the Israelis] won some territory doesn't of necessity require they were on the offensive.

    Otherwise... good succinct post.
