Loey Edward Proctor, 91, of Jonesboro, died Tuesday, Oct. 30, 2001, at St. Bernards Regional Medical Center in Jonesboro. He was born in Dickson, Tenn., and lived in Texas then several years in Bay before moving to Jonesboro in 1965. He was a retired farmer in the Bay area, and was a member of the Church of Christ.Survivors include his wife Agnes Harper Proctor of Jonesboro; one daughter, June Ashlock of Cherokee Village; one son, Harold Proctor of Memphis; two sisters, Gladys Proctor of Dallas, and Nannie Jones of Colorado City, Texas; four grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.He was preceded in death by his parents, several brothers and sisters, and by a granddaughter, Amy Ashlock Geddie.Graveside services were held Thursday, Nov. ...
