HOWELL COUNTY -- A Thayer woman was killed in a two-vehicle accident July 12. According to a report from Troop G of the Missouri Highway Patrol, Carol Futhey, 34, of Thayer was killed when the 1994 Ford Escort she was driving was hit head-on.
