Msg. John Sasfai Jr., (Ret. USA), 77, of Cherokee Village, died May 22, 2006 in Crossville, Tenn. He was born June 12, 1928, in Throop, Pa. After graduation from Honesdale High School in Honesdal, Pa., he worked for the Dairyman's League. He enlisted in the United States Army in 1948 and served until 1968 with duty in Korea during the Korean War, Germany, Fort Meyer and the Pentagon. ...

Claud K. Estes, 84, of Armona, Calif., died May 6, 2006. He was born on Aug. 4, 1921, son of the late Harve and Lou Estes in Ash Flat. He was the youngest of nine children.
