Sunday morning thousands of Fulton County residents woke to find they were without electricity. Jerry Estes with North Arkansas Electric Cooperative said that at 7:15 a.m. approximately 3,000 area residents unexpectedly lost electricity. Estes said NAEC workers discovered that the problem was isolated to the Salem power station. Apparently an insulator on one of Salem's two transformers went bad and caused the mass power loss...
