A Glencoe man was sentenced to jail time after he negotiated a plea of no contest, to battery charges, stemming from an April 2006 attack, in Fulton County Circuit Court May 7. Jacob D. Acord, 27, was sentenced to serve one month of confinement in the Fulton County Jail and 270 days of probation following his release.
