Eagles flying to Horseshoe Bend (05/30/07)
A youth-oriented event for ages 8-17 will be coming to Horseshoe Bend July 14. Mayor Bob Barnes said the Experimental Aircraft Association Young Eagles will be flying in at the Horseshoe Bend Airport to offer rides to interested individuals. Sponsored by the EAA and the Horseshoe Bend Kiwanis Club, this event will allow local kids to accompany a certified pilot on a free 15-20 minute airplane ride that will be followed up by a question and answer session...
