THAYER -- Thayer Mayor Merle Williams gave Thayer City Council members an update on the progress of upgrading the Thayer Airport at the Jan. 8 council meeting. The city recently received a grant from the Missouri Department of Transportation (MoDOT) for $90,000 to do the upgrading at the airport.
