House fire claims life of Myrtle woman (12/03/08)
An elderly, rural Myrtle woman, Maxine Vaughn, died in a fire in her home Dec. 2. Myrtle Fire Chief Carroll Garrison said as of press time Dec. 2, he does not know how the fire started but he said Vaughn had trouble with the flue in her house on other occasions.
