"The Committee is placing the Fulton County Jail on six months notice. The Committee will do a formal re-inspection in six months to determine if these problems have been corrected and if the jail is in compliance with State Jail Standards. If the jail is not in compliance with State Jail Standards after the re-inspection, the 16th Judicial District Criminal Detention Facilities Review Committee will consider asking the Attorney General's Office to petition the local circuit court, asking the court to force the jail into compliance with State Jail Standards or close the jail."
