Businesses make donation for police car striping (09/18/11)
Members of the business community rallied together recently to purchase stripes for three of the Sharp County Sheriff's Department's new patrol cars. Sheriff Mark Counts said he is very thankful to the businesses for helping support their county with the contributions. The stipes were completed by Signs by Rick in Highland.

A Black Rock man was arrested Sept. 2 after stealing a generator and confessing to other crimes.
