Brandsville woman charged with throwing stillborn fetus over fence in Howell County (03/02/12)
A Brandsville woman was charged Feb. 23 in Howell County District Court with the abandonment of a corpse, a Class D felony. Kitty Teney, 33, is accused of dumping her stillborn infant on Route Y in Howell County last August. A probable cause statement from Howell County Deputy Dylan Webb indicates the Howell County Sheriff's Office was contacted by the Illinois State Police on July 28, 2011, stating that Teney told them she delivered a baby boy in Howell County while visiting her aunt and disposed of the body over a fence next to her aunt's home.. ...
