Horse rescued from Kankey farm euthanized (03/25/12)
Uno, the most well known of 116 horses seized from a Viola farm in December of 2010, has been euthanized after months of treatment for an improperly healed fracture and pain issues. Photos of Uno, a skinny palomino, were used by the ASPCA and Humane Society in a national campaign to raise money for the rescue effort -- which has cost more than $750,000. ...
