Man jailed on drug charges after nearly hitting traffic pole (06/14/12)
A Cabot man was arrested in Highland on several felony drug charges after he nearly struck a traffic pole on May 27. According to an affidavit provided by the Highland Police Department, Brady Kyle French, 24, was observed by Officer Bryan Buchanan driving with bright lights on at a slow rate of speed. Buchanan flashed his lights at the vehicle to get the driver to dim his lights and he did not respond...

A Cave City woman is lucky to be alive after the SUV she was driving was hit by a tractor trailer on June 6 on the Piney Creek bridge on Highway 167 near Evening Shade. I sometimes introduce myself as a "Survivor" -- I'm not in the way we think of Cancer Survivors but, like so many, I'm surviving losing my mom to cancer.
