Mammoth Spring City Council met in regular session to greet a representative for the senior life centers along with discussing concerns about city maintenance and attending to new and old business. The event to raise money for the American Cancer Society will be different this year. The event still has the same purpose of raising awareness and funding for the fight against cancer, but will have a different venue along with a different name. Friday, Aug. 5, the Mammoth Spring Fire Department and Thayer Fire Department responded to a fire at Mammoth Spring Floral Express.
