Edith Joanne Robinson, 90 died April 3, 2007, at her residence in Mogadore, Ohio. She was born on June 3, 1916, on the family farm on Spring River near Hardy, in the Afton Community Township, the daughter of the late Spencer Edgar and Elva Flora Daugerty Taylor.
She was the great-granddaughter of early Fulton County settlers near Gut Creek, James Madison and Jinettia Stroud Taylor, the granddaughter of John Riley and Clorinda Clarissa Micheals Taylor. Mrs. Robinson was a homemaker and of the Church of Christ faith. She is survived by: her husband of 54 years, Gilbert Robinson of the home; one son, Spencer and daughter-in-law, Christine Robinson of Tega Cay, S.C., four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends in the Hardy area. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by eight brothers and sisters, Novis Taylor, Julia Marie Flynn, Zula Mae Nicks, Hansom Leo Taylor, Cass Riley Taylor, Panzy Pearl Talbot, Eddie Sherman Taylor and Spencer Edgar Taylor Jr..
