Audrey B. Ede, 97, of Cherokee Village died June 19, 2005, in Ash Flat. She was born Nov. 1, 1907, in Streator, Ill., the daughter of William S. Coulson and Mary Ann Goss Coulson.
She was united in marriage to Philip L. Ede in 1935 at Streator.
She worked for many years as a tinsmith. Mr. and Mrs. Ede moved to Cherokee Village in 1970 from Alton, Ill. Mr. Ede preceded her in death in 1985. She was a member of the Cherokee Village United Methodist Church.
Survivors include two daughters and their husbands -- Nancy Margaret and Clyde Martin of Cherokee Village and Marilyn Anne and Bill Nolan of Wenona, Ill.; three local granddaughters and their husbands, Susan and Tommy Day of Cherokee Village, Kathy and James Acetra of Mountain Home, and Patti and Dean Abney of Agnos; five other grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Philip; one brother, Robert Coulson; and one grandson, Jerry Nolan.
Memorial services were held June 11 at Tri-county's Cherokee Chapel with Rev. Norm Fedderly officiating. Arrangements were under the direction of the Tri-County's Cherokee Chapel of Highland.
