Aenon Anderson, 88, of Cave City died April 1, 2002, at White River Medical Center in Batesville.
Born Aug. 31, 1913, at Strawberry, she was the daughter of Israel W. and Minnie Belle Milligan. She was a homemaker and a member of Milligan Campground Cumberland Presbyterian Church near Strawberry.
Survivors include her husband, Leslie Anderson of the home; a son, James A. Anderson of Imboden; a sister, Pearl Williams of Tuckerman; four grandchildren -- James Allen Anderson of Smithville, Paula Kay Hoggard and Michael Anderson, both of Strawberry, and Randall Ray Anderson of Newark; 14 great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her stepmother, Leona Mullins Milligan; four brothers -- Joe Keith Harp, Winslow Milligan, Paul Milligan and Billy Jo Milligan; and six sisters -- Jeannie Mae Carter, Pauline Anderson, Ruthel Shaver, Maxie Brown-ing, Elmer Crouch and Helen Sawyer.
The funeral was April 4 at Milligan Campground Cumberland Presbyterian Church with Alan Meinzer and Grayden Milligan officiating. Burial followed in Milligan Campground Cemetery at Strawberry.
Pallbearers were Van D. Sawyer, George Carter, Gary Anderson, Johnny Wayne Carter, Donald Anderson, Ronald Gene Ring, Tommy Williams and Tommy Milligan.
Honorary pallbearers were her grandsons and great-grandsons.
Arrangements were under the direction of Qualls Funeral Home of Cave City.
