Anna Cassie Mooney Grice, 90, of Smithville died Dec. 30, 2004, at Cave City Nursing Home.
Born April 23, 1914, at Ravenden Springs, she was the daughter of J.F. and Josephine Ray Mooney. She was a homemaker and a member of Lebanon Missionary Baptist Church at Nelsonville.
Survivors include two daughters and a son-in-law -- Barbara and Bobby Wilson of Smithville, and Peggy Stephens of Smithville; a brother, Floyd Jackson Mooney of Carthage, Texas; four sisters -- Mary Lee Jarrett Bounds of Keiser, Catherine Henson of Portland, Ore., Pauline Henderson of Torrance, Calif., and Betty Jo Taylor of Conway; five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband C.E. Grice; a son-in-law, Roy L. Stephens; two brothers -- Franklin Mooney and Lloyd Mooney; five sisters -- Stella Cook, Johnnie Turner, Virginia Martin, Willie Wells and Vida Ray Holsclaw; and a great-grandson, Grant Wilson Smith.
The funeral was Jan. 1 at Lebanon Missionary Baptist Church with Phillip Lewallen officiating. Burial followed in Lebanon Cemetery with arrangements under the direction of Qualls Funeral Home of Cave City.
Pallbearers were Bob Wilson, Roger Huskey, Jeff Huskey, Randy Smith, Stanley Jones and Scott Jones.
Honorary pallbearers were Dr. Tom Cummins, Kevin Albertson, Monroe Albertson, Brent Huskey, Adam Huskey and all members of Lebanon Missionary Baptist Church.
