Alla Jean Berry Sharp, 69, of Evening Shade died Nov. 29, 2005, at White River Medical Center in Batesville. She was born Feb. 9, 1936, the daughter of the late Arthur "A.D." Berry, and Cecil Taylor Berry. She was a homemaker and a member of Bear Creek United Methodist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Laddie Sharp of Evening Shade; a son, Larry Sharp of Evening Shade; grandchildren, Rebecca Sharp of Evening Shade and John Sharp of Batesville; three nieces and one nephew.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Melba Jones and Veta Johnson; two infant children, Veronica Jean Sharp and Arthur David Sharp.
The funeral service was held Dec. 2 at Evening Shade United Methodist Church with Larry Morris and Johnny Carter officiating. Burial was in Bear Creek Cemetery at Evening Shade. Arrangements were under the direction of Roller-Crouch McGee Funeral Home of Cave City.
Pallbearers were Sherman Ables, Dowl Thomas, Harlin Davis, James Little, Bud Vance and Matthew Bishop.
