Albert Leon Hudgins, 61, of Ash Flat died Oct. 31, 2006, at Fulton County Hospital in Salem.
Hudgins was born on Aug. 27, 1945, in St. Augustine, Fla., the son of Alvin Hudgins and Faye (Warren) Hudgins.
He was a veteran of the United States Air Force. He worked many years as a bill collector. He was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include one son, Richard Ochoa of Dallas, Texas; one daughter and her husband, Mechelle and Richard Winters of Horseshoe Bend; one brother, Doug Hudgins of Monroe, La.; two sisters, Barbara Ann Ouzts and Carol Sue Neville, both of St. Augustine, Fla.; one half sister, Zeita Hudgins of North Carolina; and two grandchildren, Shannon Ebey Jr. and Shawn McRaye, both of Horseshoe Bend.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister.
There are no funeral services scheduled.
The family requests that memorials be made to the St. Jude Research Hospital in Memphis, Tenn.
Arrangements were under the direction of the Tri-County Funeral Home of Highland.
