Amy Owen, 94, of Ash Flat, Ark., died Nov. 6, 2007, at the Fulton County Hospital in Salem, Ark. She was born July 27, 1913, in Lesterville, Mo., the daughter of the late Homer C. St. Clair and Anna Bell Farmer St. Clair.
She was united in marriage to Frank Owen on Aug. 14, 1933, in St. Louis, Mo., She worked many years as a meat wrapper for Kroger in St. Charles, Mo. She enjoyed sewing, knitting, crocheting and luncheons.She is survived by: two sons, Tom Owen (Gleneva) of Cherokee Village, Ark., and Ralph Owen (Sue) of Elizabeth, Colo.; one daughter, Patricia Ard (Ron) of St. Charles, Mo.; 15 grandchildren; and many great- and great-great-grandchildren.She was preceded in death by: her parents; her husband; her brothers, Jon, Tom and Noel St. Clair; and one step-grandson, Stacy Liston.Funeral services were held in St. Charles, Mo., with burial following in the Mount Lebanon Cemetery in St. Ann, Mo. Local arrangements were under the direction of the Tri-County Funeral Home of Highland, Ark.Memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association or to the charity of the donor's choice.
