Arlie B. Scrivner, 54, of Evening Shade died Sept. 21, 2002, at St. Vincent Hospital in Little Rock.
Born Jan. 25, 1948, at Hickman, he was the son of Johnny Clois and Vedda Fowler Scrivner. He was a factory worker, served 23 years in the Army National Guard and was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include his wife, Margaret A. Askue Scrivner; two sons -- James Arlie Scrivner of Sulphur Rock, and George Wesley Scrivner of Sidney; a daughter, Tonya Shamrock of Ash Flat; a sister, Mildred Jordan of Alabama; six grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and nine brothers.
The funeral was Sept. 24 at Qualls Funeral Home Chapel in Cave City with Robert Hutchison officiating. Burial followed in Evening Shade Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Brian Coles, Greg Watts, Jeffery Askue, Michael Askue, Johnny Askue, Jason Askue, Jason Blackford and Mike Niswonger.
Arrangements were under the direction of Qualls Funeral Home.
