Arthur W. Beeh, 87, of Hardy died March 17, 2003, at his residence. Born May 20, 1915, in Chicago, he was the son of Arthur A. Beeh and Clara Bassil Beeh.
He married Jennie Osmundsen June 17, 1939, in Chicago. He worked many years in metal work before retiring as a plant superintendent.
Mr. and Mrs. Beeh moved to Hardy in 1977 from St. Charles, Ill. He was a member of the Lions Club, the Men's Club at Peach Lutheran Church, Dogwood Owners Country Campers, Woodland Hills Property Owners Association and Peace Lutheran Church in Cherokee Village.
Survivors include his wife, Jennie of the home; two daughters and their husbands -- Bonnie and James Kerns of Lakewood, Colo., and Beverly and James Herbst of Hardy; two sons and their wives -- Norman and Katie Beeh, and Warren and Lynn Beeh, all of Illinois; 15 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters, Alta Anderson and Bernice Petersen.
A memorial service was March 22 at Peace Lutheran Church in Cherokee Village. Pastor Brian Pummill officiated. Arrangements were under the direction of Tri-County's Cherokee Chapel of Highland.
