B.F. Butler, 94, of Cave City died June 11, 2003, at White River Medical Center in Batesville.
Born Jan. 26, 1909, at Calamine, he was the son of John Franklin and Margaret Landers Butler. He was an accountant and a member of First Missionary Baptist Church in Cave City where he served as a deacon for more than 15 years.
Survivors include a son, Kimbrew Butler of Batesville; two daughters -- Olene Batey of Bartlett, Tenn., and Maxine Butler of Batesville; six grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Willie Myrtle Butler; four brothers -- Vernie Butler, Delmer Butler, Everett Butler and Hayden Butler; and a sister, Zelma Caldwell.
The funeral was June 14 at First Missionary Baptist Church with Robbie Horne and Mike Hoggard officiating. Burial followed at Mountain View Cemetery at Cave City.
Arrangements were by Qualls Funeral Home of Cave City
Pallbearers were Wayne Gifford, Rick Ezry, Mark Travis, Russell Sneller, Jeremy Sneller and Joshua Sneller.
Honorary pallbearers were Gary Batey, Johnny Curtis and Dr. Andy Davidson.
