Betty Jean Niemeyer, 74, of Cave City died Sept. 30, 2006, at White River Medical Center in Batesville.
She was born Nov. 22, 1931, at Prescott, Ark., to Oscar and Grace Stivers. She was employed by Riverside Graphics in Batesville and was of the Protestant faith.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Arlis Niemeyer; and one brother, Ted Stivers.
Survivors include: two sons, Gilbert Niemeyer of Maize, Kan., and Randall Niemeyer of Cave City; one daughter, Terri Glaze of Searcy; one brother, Jody Stivers of Prescott; four sisters, Vonnie Page of Cleveland, Texas, Opal Wolley of Livingston, Texas, Judy Parnell of Pensacola, Fla., and Dorothy Niemeyer of Smithville; 11 grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Private memorial service will be held at a later date, with arrangements by Qualls Funeral Home of Cave City. No visitation is planned.
