Brenda Jean Wooldridge, 55, of Cave City died April 27, 2006, at her home.

She was born May 12, 1950, at Blytheville, Ark. She was reared by her maternal grandparents, Thomas and Maggie Herrington. She was a Head Start teacher, homemaker and a member of the Maxville Missionary Baptist Church at Cave City.

Survivors include her husband, Dale Wooldridge of the home; one son, Shawn Wooldridge of Camden, Ark.; one daughter, Sherry Conger of Sulphur Rock; four sisters, Sharon Spray, Linda Cole and Francis Key, all of Manilla, and Tina Foley of Lake City, Ark.; five grandchildren, Aaron Conger and Austin Conger, both of Sulphur Rock, Macie Wooldridge, Emma Wooldridge and Brooke Wooldride, all of Camden; several nieces and nephews; and a host of other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Lois Charlene Long; and her maternal grandparents.

The funeral services were held April 30 at the Maxville Missionary Baptist Church north of Cave City with Bro. Boyce Johnson officiating. Burial followed in the Maxville Cemetery, with arrangements under the direction of Qualls Funeral Home of Cave City.

Pallbearers were Joel Koch, James Koch, Jason Wooldridge, Michael Wooldridge, Mark Herrington and Wendall Perkey.

Honorary pallbearers were Chris Cole, Randall Spray Jr., Daniel Spray, Kevin Foley Jr. and Devin Foley.
