Antoinette A. Brandt, 100, of Horseshoe Bend died Feb. 9, 2002, at Eastern Ozarks Re-gional Health System in Chero-kee Village.
Born in Cary, Ill., she was the daughter of Joseph and Anna Krupetka Hemola. She was a life-long resident of Crystal Lake, Ill., before recently moving to Horseshoe Bend. She married Anthony Brandt in Waucanda, Ill., Nov. 8, 1923. He preceded her in death.
Survivors include a daughter, Kathryn (John) Dormar of Horseshoe Bend; a sister, Ella Krause of McHenry, Ill.; two grandchildren -- Michael Dawson of Franklin and Richard (Linda) Dawson of Portage, Mich.; two great-grandchildren -- Nathan and Jessica Dawson, both of Portage.
She was preceded in death by two sisters -- Rose Anderson and Mary Mitacek; and three brothers -- William Hemola, Joseph Hemola and Theodore Hemola.
Burial will be at a later date in Windridge Memorial Park in Carey.
Local arrangements are under the direction of Horseshoe Bend Memorial Chapel of Horseshoe Bend.
