Billie Jean Dew Williams, 74, of the Cave Creek community died Dec. 28, 2002, at Cave City Nursing Home.
Born Oct. 3, 1928, at Batesville, she was the daughter of General Alex and Bertha Mae Weaver Dew. She was a homemaker and a member of Cave Creek Church of God.
Survivors include a son, Galin Williams of Cave City; four daughters -- Alda Bratton and Billie Sue Whitworth, both of Scott City, Mo., Jeneen Wallace of Cave City, and Tanya Moser of Batesville; a stepson, Jimmy Hutchinson of Batesville; a sister, Juanita Wisdom of Jonesboro; 12 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Norman Williams; four brothers; and five sisters.
The funeral was Dec. 31 at Cave Creek Church of God with the Rev. Don Pollard officiating. Burial followed in Weavers Chapel Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Johnny Hewitt, Calvin Hewitt, Billy Wisdom, Von Wisdom, Edgar Dew and Wade Tharp.
Arrangements were under the direction of Qualls Batesville Funeral Service.
