Conrad Dwayne Bean, 64, of Salem died Jan. 26, 2004, in Salem.
Born Sept. 22, 1939, in Kokomo, Ind., he was the son of Walter Robert and Bertha Eleanor Ellison Bean.
He spent his working years as a father and carpenter. He was a member of Horseshoe Bend Eagles Club and Moose Lodge 739. He served his country in the United States Marine Corps.
Survivors include two daughters -- Linda Bean and Sheila Boswell, both of Washington; and five brothers -- Bill Bean of Kokomo, Ind., Bob Bean of Fort Worth, Texas, Lloyd Bean of Russiaville, Ind., Garnie Bean of Ash Flat, and Danny Bean of Auburn, Ill.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a daughter, Lisa Bean; and a brother, Lester L. Bean.
The funeral was Jan. 29 at Barker Funeral Home Chapel in Salem with Floyd Rikard officiating. Interment was in Fairview Cemetery at Salem. Arrangements were under the direction of Barker Funeral Home of Salem.
Pallbearers were Bill Hobbs, Roger Horn, David Walls, Henry Book, David Morrell, LeRoy Mickel, Palmer Ward and Robert Estes.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are preferred to the family.
