Clarice Elwanda Girtman Dickey, 83, of Cave City died Feb. 20, 2005, at Cave City Nursing Home.
Born July 30, 1921, at Hilltop, Ark., she was the daughter of W.O. "Orville" and Sarah Evelyn Brewer Girtman.
She was a homemaker, a Christian and a member of Cave City Church of Christ.
Survivors include a daughter, Marcella Carpenter of Cave City; a grandson, Joey Carpenter of Cave City; two granddaughters -- Kim Carpenter and Lisa Carpenter, both of Cave City; five great-grandchildren -- Blake Polston of Conway, Nick Pierson, Dalton Carpenter, Candra Carpenter and Amanda Tuggle, all of Cave City; a sister, Bernice Marlin of Cave City; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Curzy Lawson Dickey; a brother, O.C. Girtman; and a sister, Wana Gene Price.
The funeral service was held Feb. 22 at Cave City Church of Christ with Dean Fugett officiating.
Burial followed in Fairview Cemetery east of Cave City with arrangements under the direction of Qualls Funeral Home of Cave City.
Pallbearers were Gary Farmer, Charlie Brewer, Marc Walling, Max Duram, Jim Watson and Jeral Hastings.
Honorary pallbearers were Clyde Cossey, Lloyd Cossey, Harry Howard, Ernest Stitcher, Les Kleider and T.A. Brewer.
