Clayton Dissinger

Clayton I. Dissinger, 86, of Williford, died Feb. 15, 2007, at the White River Medical Center in Batesville. Dissinger was born March 18, 1920, in Bouton, Iowa, the son of John I. Dissinger and Alice (Kraus) Dissinger.

He was a graduate of Iowa State College with a degree in electrical engineering. He was a veteran of the United States Navy having served during World War II. He moved to Cherokee Village in 1998 from Iowa.

He was united in marriage o Brenda whithead on June 5, 1999, at St. Andrews Episcopal Church in Cherokee Village. Dissinger was a member of the American Legion and VFW and served as a firefighter for over 50 years. He was a member of St. Andrews Episcopal Church.

He is survived by his wife, Brenda Dissinger, and one sister, Ruth Undervich.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his first wife Ruth; and his daughter Elizabeth.

A memorial service will be held at a later date. Arrangements were under the direction of Tri-County Funeral Home in Highland.
