Curtis Dean LaSage, 80, of Cherokee Village died Aug. 3, 2004, at Eastern Ozarks Regional Health System.

Born March 3, 1924, in Chicago, he was the son of Edward and Rose Poland Oatman. He was united in marriage Nov. 9, 1942, in Poygan, Wis., to Kathryn Marie Grinnell who preceded him in death on March 29, 2001. He was a graduate of Lawrence University in Appleton, Wis., and a veteran of World War II, serving in the U.S. Army. He was a musician and was a member of St. Michael's Catholic Church in Cherokee Village.

Survivors include a daughter, Sharon Koeppl of Cherokee Village; a son, Curtis LaSage, of Germantown, Wis.; a sister, Marcia Lomann of California; five grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be announced at a later date.

Arrangements are under the direction of Higginbotham Funeral Services of Hardy.
