Charles "Chuck" Earl Drumheller, 52, of Hardy died Aug. 28, 2004, at the Elvis Presley Trauma Center in Memphis, Tenn.
Born July 4, 1952, in Rockford, Ill., he was the son of Kenneth Gardner and Evelyn Rogene Wible Drumheller.
He was a personal financial planner with American Express/Investors Diversified Services, a member of the Elks Club Lodge 2539 and a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Mt. Morris, Ill.
Survivors include a sister, Patricia Jaurez of Cordova Tenn.; two aunts -- Betty Millard of Mt. Morris, and Sarah Wible of Louisville, Ky.; an uncle, Marvin Millard of Mt. Morris; a nephew, Christopher A. Jaurez of Tucson, Ariz.; and two dear friends -- Nancy Howell of Memphis, and Jeanne Weiand of Hardy.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents -- Earl and Ella Wible; his parents -- Kenneth G. Drumheller and Evelyn R. Miller; an uncle, James F. Wible Sr.; a cousin, Michael Millard; and a nephew, Patrick N. Jaurez.
A memorial service was held Sept. 3 at Peace Lutheran Church in Cherokee Village with Pastor Brian Pummill officiating. Arrangements were under the direction of Qualls Funeral Home of Cave City.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
