Cora Fay Brown, 93, of Cave City died April 6, 2006, at White River Medical Center in Batesville.

She was born June 21, 1913, at Lynn, Ark., to Stanley and Lula Buttram Jones. She was a homemaker and a member of the East Side Southern Baptist Church at Cave City.

Survivors include three sons, Wayburn Penn of Jacksonville, Wayne Penn of Cave City and Vernon Penn of Jamestown, Calif., two daughters, Nita Oliver of Hot Springs and Jo Ann Barnhart of Kansas City, Kan.; 14 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and a host of other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, Palmer Penn; her second husband, Frank Brown; and one son, Jerry Dale Penn.

The funeral services were April 9 at Qualls Funeral Home Chapel in Cave City with Bro. Gary Wallace officiating. Burial followed in the Dry Creek Cemetery south of Lynn with arrangements by Qualls Funeral Home of Cave City.

Pallbearers were her grandsons, Roger Penn, Richard Penn, Boyce Penn, Greg Penn, Randal Caldwell and Jeremy Penn.
