Carl J. Brand IV, 45, of Evening Shade died May 10, 2006, at White River Medical Center in Batesville.
He was born Sept. 19, 1960, at Newport, Ark., the son of Carl J. Brand III and Barbara Pay-singer Brand. He was a truck driver for Willis Shaw Express, a veteran of the United States Air Force, life member of the National Rifle Association, life member of the North American Hunting Club and a member of the Church of Christ.
Survivors include his father, Carl J. Brand III of Evening Shade; one brother, Kelly Joe Brand of Evening Shade; several aunts and uncles, cousins and a host of other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his mother.
Funeral services were held May 13 at Qualls Funeral Home Chapel in Cave City with Ed Campbell officiating. Burial followed in the Campground Cemetery north of Evening Shade with arrangements under the direction of Qualls Funeral Home of Cave City.
Pallbearers were Jim Shands, Jim Hooten Aaron Kliem, Kevin Harrelson, Howard Welch, Jim Rogers, Wyatt Goad, Randy Paysinger and J.R. Paysinger.
