Connie Marie Horton, 63, of Cherokee Village died Sept. 3, 2005, at the Central Arkansas Hospital in Searcy, Ark.
She was born Nov. 25, 1941, in Coffeeville, Kan., the daughter of Paul William Perryman and June Elmo Goebble Perryman. She moved to Cherokee Village with her husband in 1993 from Sacramento, Calif.
She was a member of Liberty Hill Methodist Church. She was employed as an associate with the Wal-Mart Super Center in Ash Flat.
Survivors include three sons -- Norman Bruce Horton Jr. of Cave City, Jeffrey Paul Horton and wife, Brenda, of Sacramento, Calif., and Curtus Monroe Horton of Sacramento; two daughters -- Kathryn Louis Reed and husband, Rodney, of Mammoth Spring, and Tamara Marie De Cutler of Cherokee Village; three brother -- Dennis Perryman of Oregon, Robert Perryman of Rio Linda, Calif., and Paul Perryman of Sparks, Nev.; 14 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Norman Bruce Horton Sr.; and one brother, Forest Dale Perryman.
The funeral service was held Sept. 8 at Tri-County's Cherokee Chapel in Highland, with arrangements under the direction of Tri-County's Cherokee Chapel.
