Clifford N. Hobbs Sr., 50, of Cave City died April 21, 2003, at Memphis, Tenn.
Born Oct. 12, 1952, at Memphis, he was the son of John and Doris Wages Hobbs. He was an auto body painter for Don Thompson Autoplex in Memphis.
Survivors include his mother and stepfather -- Donald and Doris Smith of Horn Lake, Miss.; three sons -- James Denman and Jeffery Hobbs, both of Cave City, and Nathaniel Hobbs Jr. of Holly Springs, Miss.; two daughters -- Sonya Taylor of Independence, Miss., and Rhonda Foster of Horn Lake, Miss.; five brothers -- Jimmy Hobbs of Byhalia, Miss., Robert Hobbs and Roger Hobbs, both of Holly Springs, Howard Hobbs of Mississippi, and Kenneth Hobbs of Coldwater, Miss.; a sister, Lisa Hobbs also of Coldwater; seven grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father and a brother, Johnny Hobbs.
The funeral was April 23 at Qualls Funeral Home Chapel in Cave City with Charles Barnett officiating. Burial was in Cave City Cemetery.
Arrangements were by Qualls Funeral Home of Cave City.
Pallbearers were Terry Barnett, Chris Barnett, Nathan Barnett, Shane Foust, Phillip Barnett and Tracy Taylor.
Honorary pallbearers were Don Thompson, Joey Crunk, Roy Gary and Robbie Foster.
