Deloris Diane McCollum of Morriston, Ark., daughter of Oneta Jean Ellis Branscum and the late Joseph Eldon Branscum, was born April 8, 1957, in Mammoth Spring. She entered eternal rest Oct. 2, 2003, at Mountain Home, Ark., at the age of 46 years, five months and 24 days.
She was married to Claude Udell McCollum Nov. 10, 1973, in Ash Flat and to this union three children were born. She spent her working years as a wife, mother, grandmother and a homemaker. She was a member of the Peace Valley Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Claude McCollum of Morriston, Ark.; two sons -- Brian McCollum and wife, Elizabeth, of Morriston, Ark., and Stacy McCollum and wife, Patricia, of Morriston; a daughter, Jodi Kett, and husband, Jason, of Camp, Ark.; her mother, Oneta Branscum of Ravenden Springs, Ark.; a brother, Danny Joe Branscum of Ravenden Springs; six sisters -- Kay Branscum, Donna Wells, Kathy Bailey and Penny Collins all of Ravenden Springs and Theresa Pontzius of Evening Shade, Ark., and Lisa Branscum of Ravenden Springs; five grandchildren -- Kelly McCollum, Brooklyn McCollum, Austin McCollum, Christian McCollum and Britney McCollum.
She was preceded in death by her father, Eldon Branscum, and a brother, Arlis Branscum.
Services were held at Barker Funeral Home Chapel Oct. 5 with Bro. John Hodges officiating. Interment was in the Fairview Cemetery in Salem, under the direction of Barker Funeral Home of Salem.
Pallbearers were Tim Wells, Willard McCollum, Clyde McCollum, Les Lambert, Scott Lambert, Michael McCollum, Gail Bailey, Millard Wells, Darin Young and Waymond Wells.
