Dominick Gervasi, 73, died at his residence in Cherokee Village Feb. 5, 2003.
He was born in Chicago, and was a retired metallurgical engineer with A. Finkl and Sons.
He moved to Cherokee Village from Elmwood, Ill. He served in the Army during the war in Korea and was a member of St. Michael's Catholic Church in Cherokee Village.
Survivors include his wife, Grace Tutte Gervasi of Cherokee Village; a son, Christopher Gervasi of Scottsdale, Ariz.; a daughter, Danette Kimmel of Villa Park, Ill.; a brother, Anthony Gervasi of Ontario, Calif.; a sister, Connie Green of Mount Prospect, Ill.; and four grandsons.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Rocco and Kate Cannata Gervasi, and a son, Gregory Gervaso.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
Arrangements are under the direction of Tri-County's Cherokee Chapel of Highland.
