Donnie Lee Huskey, 70, of Strawberry died Feb. 10, 2003, at his home.
Born Sept. 26, 1932, at Tuckerman, he was the son of Columbus Alonzo and Rosie Handley Huskey. He was loved by all of his family and many neighbors and friends. He was a member of Old Country Church at Moorefield.
Survivors include his wife of 49 years, Bonnie Jean Huskey, whom he married Jan. 26, 1954; a son, Timmy Lee Huskey of Strawberry; two daughters -- Karen Lynn Morgan of Batesville, and Nancy Carol Clinton of Strawberry; three brothers -- Bill Huskey of Auxcasse, Mo., Phillip Huskey of Tuckerman, and Johnny Huskey of Ravenden Springs; four sisters -- Madeline McIntosh of Newport, Earline Elckhorst of Bonnets Mill, Mo., Sharon Sales of Swifton, and Carolyn Fortenberry of Tuckerman; seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters -- Virgie Sullivan and Eveline Miller; and a grandson, Nicholas Grant Gilbert.
The funeral was Feb. 12 at Qualls Funeral Home Chapel in Cave City with Leonard Tharp officiating. Burial followed in Ward Cemetery at Strawberry.
Pallbearers were George Gray, James Rose, Scotty Hix, Lavon Huskey, Laddie Barber and Al Nelson
Arrangements were by Qualls Funeral Home of Cave City.
