Donald L. Fox, 86, of Jonesboro, formerly of Cherokee Village, died June 30, 2002, at Beverly Health and Rehab Center in Jonesboro.
Born in Shenandoah, Iowa, he lived in St. Joseph, Mo., before moving to Cherokee Village several years ago. He moved to Jonesboro last year. He was retired from General Motors and was a U.S. Marine Corps veteran of World War II. He was a member of St. Michael's Catholic Church in Cherokee Village and of the American Legion.
Survivors include his wife, Dorothea Walker Fox of Jonesboro; a daughter, Donna Jean Weston of St. Joseph; a son, Ronald Fox of Shenandoah; and two grandchildren.
A memorial service was held July 3 at the Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church in Jonesboro with the Rev. Father Jack Harris officiating.
Arrangements were under the direction of Emerson Funeral Home of Jonesboro.
