Dorotha Leone Hogan, 94, of Horseshoe Bend, Ark., died Feb. 25, 2007, at her residence. She was born June 28, 1912, in Foster, Ind., the daughter of Ernest and Iva Gouty Moundy.
She was a homemaker and a member of the Catlin Church of Christ in Catlin, Ill.
She is survived by one daughter, Marlene Jackson of Horseshoe Bend; a sister, Vera Wilson of Covington, Ill.; nine grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Leland Hogan; one son, Gerald Hogan; one grandson, Kenneth Welch; two brothers, Bob Moundy and Ernest Moundy Jr.; one sister, Roberta Morehouse.
The funeral services were held March 1 at the Horseshoe Bend Memorial Chapel with Bro. Author Barber officiating. Burial followed at the Evening Shadows Memorial Park in Horseshoe Bend.
Pallbearers were Eric Goodnight, John Davis, Mark Welch, Robert Morles, Lee Harmon and Tracy Hogan.
Arrangements were made under the direction of the Horseshoe Bend Memorial Chapel.
