Danny Ray Morgan, 29, of Sidney died July 16, 2004, at White River Medical Center in Batesville.
Born April 25, 1975, in Bossier City, La., he was the son of Jimmy Ray Morgan of Powhatan, Ark., and Allie Janie Morgan of Brockwell.
He was a 1995 graduate of Izard County Consolidated School. He was a member of the Nazarene Church in Horseshoe Bend and was employed as a construction worker.
Survivors include his father, Jimmy Ray Morgan; his mother and step-father -- Allie Janie and Robert Morgan of Brockwell; his step-mother, Mary Annette Schmidt of Morton, Ill.; two brothers -- Jessie and Robbie Morgan of Brockwell; a sister, Misty Woods of Campbell, Mo.; a daughter, Hailey Amber Stadin of Viola; and a niece and nephew.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents -- J.R. and Vertis Morgan and W.J. and Lovra Hightower.
The funeral was July 22 at the Roman and Billy Howard Memorial Chapel in Melbourne. Burial was in Violet Hill Cemetery with arrangements under the direction of Eddie's Family Funeral Home in Melbourne.
Pallbearers are Jeremy Gross, Heath Williams, Jonathan Williams, Stacey Thomas, Bobby Gibson and Les Verkler.
Honorary pallbearers are David Dykes and Lance Gross.
