Donald Orlie Gelsinger, 70, of Horseshoe Bend died Feb. 17, 2005, at Baxter Regional Medical Center in Mountain Home.
Born March 18, 1934, in Parma, Ohio, he was the son of Nicholas Gelsinger and Wilma Williams Gelsinger. He married Edna Revanell Jessup, Oct. 8, 1952, in Edwardsville, Ill., and to this union three daughters were born. During his working years he was a truck driver/supervisor and terminal manager for Jones Motor Freight. He served his country in the U. S. Navy
Survivors include his wife Edna Revanell of the home; three daughters -- Kristy Lynn Gelsinger of Horseshoe Bend, Tamara Jean Barrett of Clovis, Calif., and Tracy Ann Blanton of Tucson, Ariz.; a brother -- James Robert Forbes of Redondo Beach, Calif.; two sisters -- Ruthan Williams of Granite City, Ill., and Nancy Louise Anderson of Northridge, Calif.; 10 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a son Gary Alan Gelsinger; and a great-grandchild.
A memorial services was Feb. 20 at Horseshoe Bend Memorial Chapel. Memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
