Douglas Ray Cline, was born Feb. 10, 1962, in Bethesda, Md., the son of Donald Cline and Geneva Faye Owen Cline. He died July 9, 2007, in West Plains, Mo., at the age of 45.
Doug was a Christian and attended Stateline Pentecostal Church. He was welder, iron and sawmill worker.His favorite pastime was spending time with his grandchildren and he enjoyed the sport of fishing.He is survived by: three daughters, Brandy Renee Ragan of Thayer, Mo., Heather Dawn Cline of Joplin, Mo. and Misty Starr McPartlen of Hillsboro, Mo.; nine grandchildren, Jason, Isaiah, Ivan, Lalana, Emily, Kayla, Haven, Booklyn and Trevor; his mother, Geneva Faye Farris of Thayer; his father, Donald Cline of Thayer; one brother, David Sacra of Thayer; four sisters, Malissia Busby of Ash Flat, Ark., Michelle Simpson of Vilonia, Ark., Carroll LaDawn Haney of Doniphan, Mo.; and Janice Ray Tice of Winona, Mo.; the mother of his children, Susie Dixon of Joplin, Mo.; several nieces; nephews; other relatives and friends.He was preceded in death by one infant brother, Ronald Cline.Graveside services were held July 12 at noon in the Myrtle Cemetery at Myrtle, Mo., with Wayne Hurst officiating. Arrangements were under the direction of the Carter Funeral Home of Thayer.
