Etta Belle Meacham, 75, of Cave City died Oct. 31, 2006, at the White River Medical Center in Batesville.
She was born April 12, 1931, at Grange, Ark., the daughter of the late Ansel and Monie Christenberry.
She was a bookkeeper and manager for Curia Creek Apartments in Cave City. She was married to Richard Meacham for 58 years.
She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Cave City.
Survivors include her husband, Richard Meacham of the home; one son, Richard Allen Meacham of Chattanooga, Tenn.; one daughter, Carol Brown of Bull Shoals; one brother, Leon Chistenberry of Jonesboro; one sister, Mary Russell of Gary, Ind.; three grandchildren, Lisa Phenice of Overland Park, Kan., Jerry Brown of Sunnyvale, Calif., and Jeremy Meacham of Miami, Fla.; one great-granddaughter, Kelsey Phenice of Overland Park; and a host of other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
The funeral services were held Nov. 2 at First United Methodist Church in Cave City with Rev. Wayne Johnson officiating. Burial followed in the Cave City Cemetery with arrangements under the direction of the Qualls Funeral Home of Cave City.
