Edward Lynn Carrier, 75, of Horseshoe Bend died Oct. 19, 2003, at White River Medical Center in Batesville.
Born Dec. 20, 1927, in Knoxville, Tenn., he was the son of Kathryn M. Hill and Paul Edward Carrier.
He was employed by Civil Service NASA Weapons Command. He was a member of Ash Flat Baptist Church, the Elks and Mason Lodge 235 of Tacoma, Wash. He was a veteran of the Navy, having served on USS James E. Kyes during World War II.
Survivors include his wife, Leona Carrier of Horseshoe Bend; a son, Jeff Carrier of Bolliver, Tenn.; three daughters -- Deborah Cox of Davenport, Iowa, Lesley Negron of New Ulm, Minn., and Becky Birdsell of Hardy; and 11 grandchildren.
The funeral was Oct. 22 at Heath Oak Hill Chapel in Hardy, with burial in the Baker Cemetery at Ozark Acres. Arrangements were under the direction of Heath Oak Hill Chapel of Hardy.
